Myron and Carol are great supporters of the Alliance for the Children. Over the years Myron gravitated towards a special job for us. Over the years he came to enjoy cutting the yarn that we use to tie childrens toy and clothing bags. The yarn is color coded for each age group. Girls : Birth-1 Pale Green; 1-2 Yellow; 3-6 Green; 7-10 Pink; 11-14 Purple; 15+ Grey Boys : Birth-1 White; 1-2 Brown; 3-6 Red; 7-10 Light Blue; 11-14 Dark Blue; 15+ Orange Myron would cut strips of yarn by group and place it in a baggie with a count (usually 50 or 100). Over the years we would have the bags recounted as we used them. Myron's counts have never been found to be wrong! Everytime we pull out a new bag we recount this story with our volunteers and thank Myron for his meticulous work. We will be using Myron's yarn for years to come!
